Corey Hummell

      Corey A. Hummell, 37, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, from injuries sustained in a fire at his home.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Revs. Joe Forest and Bob Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

      Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5-8 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corey Hummell Memorial, which will be used for the family's benefit.

      Mr. Hummell was born Nov. 19, 1969, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Kenneth "Red" and Connie Bain Hummell. He married Melissa Hirschy Nov. 6, 1993, at Trenton Missionary Church.
