Courtland L. Douthart

Courtland L. Douthart, 72, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday and beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 1-2 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 162, Mount Auburn 52313.

Mr. Douthart was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Fairfield, the son of Fred and Fern Platt Douthart. He married Shirley Ann O?Brian. They later divorced.
