Craig J. Goodwin, 50, of Coralville, Iowa, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, in Coralville.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Pastor Erin Kaye officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Iowa City American Legion Post 17. Craig was born May 9, 1970, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Donald and Beverly (Henry) Goodwin. He graduated from Iowa City High. Craig served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during Desert Storm. Craig worked as an electrician and had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushrooming.

He is survived by his significant other of many years, Ann Engstrom of Coralville, Iowa; father, Don Goodwin of Washington, Iowa; sister, Marissa Tallington and husband Grady of Frederick, Md.; six nieces and nephews, Jacob, Jhaida, Andrey, Audriana, Abigail and Avarie Tallington; three great-nieces and great-nephews, Asher, Nailah and Drazik; aunt, Diana Henry of Washington, Iowa; uncle, David Goodwin of Washington, Iowa; uncle; Rick Farrier and wife Martha of Coralville, Iowa; and many cousins.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother in 2018; uncle, Marcus Henry; and aunt, Bonnie Henry.
