Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Biggs, 64, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family or to Noah’s Ark and mailed to Allen Biggs, 300 E. Monroe Avenue, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Cindy was born December 14, 1958, in Alton, IL, to Arthur Merlin and Claudia Kay (Laudon) Greenig Jr. She married Allen Wayne Biggs on August 2, 1980.

Cindy worked as a dental assistant at Fairfield Dental Clinic and was a substitute associate for the Fairfield Community School District. She also worked at Optimae Services as a care giver which filled her heart with joy. Some of Cindy’s other interests were collecting unicorns and nativity scenes, reading and watching Hallmark movies. Her favorite flowers were Irises. Most important was spending time with family.

Cindy will be missed by her husband of 42 years, Allen Biggs of Fairfield; two children, Laura Elizabeth (Loran) Franklin and Rachel Lynne Biggs, both of Fairfield; her dog, Odie; parents, Arthur and Claudia Greenig Jr.; three siblings, Arthur Merlin Greenig III, Elizabeth Ann (Monte) Hunter and Paul Franklin (Lisa) Greenig; and nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Wilma Greenig; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Sylvia Laudon; paternal grandparents, Arthur Merlin and Gertrude Elizabeth Greenig Sr.; and infant brother, Eric.
