D. Eugene Shaw
D. Eugene Shaw, 79, of Burlington, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. today at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Dennis Tevis officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Cancer Care Center of Great River Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen Neff and Beverly Strickland, both of Burlington; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yupha Lewis of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
