D. James 'Jim' Dayton
HAMILTON, Ill. - D. James "Jim" Dayton, 49, of Nauvoo, Ill. died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in his home in Nauvoo as the result of a genetic heart disorder.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, in the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Hamilton with the Rev. Tom Spain officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, Ill. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Thursday in the Lamporte-St. Clair Funeral Home in Hamilton where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Dayton was born Oct. 13, 1958, in Washington, the son of Donald D. and Ethel V. (Scalf) Dayton. He married Cindy Lee on Oct. 6, 1995 in Keokuk.
