Daisy Earline Besser
SIGOURNEY - Daisy Earline Besser, 87, of Sigourney, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
A Mass of Christian burial was held today at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper, with the Rev. Philip Ryan, the Rev. Marty Goetz, the Rev. Robert Striegel and the Rev. Robert Harness officiating. Burial was in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. A general memorial has been established. Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Sigourney is handling arrangements.
