Dale ?Deke? Sojka

RIVERSIDE ? Dale ?Deke? Sojka, 86, of Riverside, died Sunday, may 3, 2009, in the Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree following an extended illness.

    Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, in the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Following the committal service at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the St. Mary?s Parish Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside with a 7 p.m. rosary service. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.

    Mr. Sojka was born May 19, 1922, in Washington County, the son of Charles J. and Rose I. (Knotek) Sojka. He married Darlene D. Kleopfer on June 7, 1945, in the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside.
