Dale 'Doggie' Emory Doggett

Dale "Doggie" Emory Doggett, 75, of Washington died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at his home after failing health in the past three months.

      The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Masonic Lodge services will be at 6 p.m. tonight. Memorials have been established to the Hospice of Washington County and Shrine Children's Hospital.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deborah and her husband Randall Kilbourn and Linda and her husband Denny Dougall, all of Washington; a son, Fred and his wife Cheri Doggett of Washington; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a brother, Jerry Doggett of Tacoma, Wash.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Joyce Shields and an infant brother, Donny Doggett.
