Dale J. Duwa

      KALONA-Dale J. Duwa, 82, of Richmond, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at home, of an apparent heart attack.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 26, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Richmond. Visitation will begin Sunday at 7 a.m., with family present from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A Rosary will be said by the Knights of Columbus at 3 p.m., Sunday, and prayers will be said at 7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Duwa was born on Sept. 19, 1921, in rural Washington, to Lawrence F. and Agnes (Bopp) Duwa. He married Mary Ann TeBockhorst on Feb. 1, 1945, in Richmond.
