Dale Lance

      Dale Lance, 90, of Washington, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in the Halcyon House in Washington following an extended illness.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the Jones-Eden Funeral home in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Visitation was Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Lance was born June 7, 1918 in Olds, the son of Gilbert Forrest and Mayme Marie (Miller) Lance. He married Mary E. "Betty" Statler at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
