Dalene Ann Roher was born December 17, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Dale and Arlene (Osmundson) Welsh. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. She had worked at the Cedar Rapids Post Office for 30-plus years until her retirement. Dalene has been with her life partner and companion Duane Martinson for 21 years. Dalene enjoyed cooking, camping, watching TV Land, getting her hair done and spending time with her family. Dalene died Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa at the age of 67 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Caskey of Maine and Jennifer (Tom) Scagnoli of Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Peyton, Cale and Nalia; companion, Duane Martinson of Williamsburg; two sisters, Nickala Marthe of Texas and Debora Welsh of Des Moines, and a brother, Jeffrey Welsh of Williamsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bradly Beilstein and a brother Steven.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held 10:30 am on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Burial is at the Pilot Grove Cemetery.
