Dana Kay ?Big Momma? Parker

    Dana Kay ?Big Momma? Parker, 38, of Iowa City, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at her home following a lengthy illness.

    Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Dean Elmore officiating.  Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at a later date.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.  A general memorial has been established.

    Mrs. Parker was born Oct. 17, 1971, in Durango, Colo., the daughter of Kenneth Dale and Theresa (McSherry) Deavers.  She married Donald Parker on May 3, 2003, in Mount Pleasant.
