Daniel Dale Cline, 46, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic after battling cancer.

Open visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020, at Behner Funeral Home. Family will not be present.

Graveside service will be

1 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Iowaville Cemetery, Selma, Iowa, with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Ivan "Jr" Cline, 2103 265th Street, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Daniel was born January 20, 1974, to Ivan "Jr" Erleu and Valeta LaFon (Hoage) Cline in Fairfield.

Daniel worked 16 years at Dexter in the Core Room as a leadman. He enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Daniel's two children, Breanna and Logun, were the most important part of his life. They always came first. Daniel was known for his sense of humor and making them laugh.

He will be missed by his two children, Breanna and Logun Cline, both of Fairfield; his parents, Jr. and LaFon of Fairfield; three siblings, Rick Cline of Fairfield, Toni (Doug) Aplara of Mt. Pleasant, Mike (Lisa) Cline of Fairfield; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivan and Laura Cline Sr. and Eugene and Helen Hoage.
