Daniel 'Joe' J. Fedler November 29, 1951 - November 8, 2005

      Daniel Joseph "Joe" Fedler, 53, of Denmark, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday November 8, 2005 at his home.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday Nov. 11, at St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton with Fr. Gary Beckman as Celebrant. Burial with full military rites by the West Point American Legion will be in the Calvary Cemetery in West Point. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lee County Hospice. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Thursday at the St John's Catholic Church in Houghton where the Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a wake service will be held at 7 p.m.

      Survivors include his wife Carleen of Denmark, two sons: David and his wife Angel Fedler of Fort Madison, Scott and his wife Sara Fedler of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; three brothers Melvin and his wife Sandy Fedler of Tipton, Gerald and his wife Carol Fedler of West Point and Denis and his wife Tina Fedler of Fort Collins, Colo.
