Daniel Lawrence 'Barndog' Thomann

      RICHLAND-Daniel Lawrence "Barndog" Thomann, 37, of Richland, died Sunday, May 2. 2004, at University Hospitals in Iowa City, following a stroke.

      A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church in Richland, with the Rev. Charles J. Fladung officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, with family present, at the church. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m., followed by Prayers for a Christian Wake. Memorials may be directed to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church, Richland First Responders, or a charity of one's choosing. Gould Funeral Home in Richland is in charge of arrangements.

      Mr. Thomann was born on March 8, 1967, in Fairfield, to E. Lawrence and Alberta (Janecek) Thomann.
