Danny LaVaun Mahan
Danny LaVaun Mahan, 64, of Iowa City, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a sudden illness.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English with the Rev. Kirk Statler officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.
