Darlene Courtney

Darlene Courtney, 67, of Salina, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Norman Funeral home in Lancaster, Mo., with the Rev. Sonny Smyser officiating. Burial will be in Coffey Cemetery, south of Downing, Mo. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday, at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends. A memorial has been established.

      Survivors include her mother; her husband; four sons, Leo House of Corpus Christi, Texas, Donnie House of Burlington, Terry House of Richland and Doug House of Fairfield; two daughters, Diane Henry of Farmington, and Sharon Ryder of Fairfield; a step-son, Jon Courtney of Libertyville; a step-daughter, Margie Curtis of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren, six stepgreat-grandchildren; and three sisters, Wilma Chain of Danville, Mary Parker of Burlington and Kay Palmer of Corpus Christi, Texas.

      She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, two sons and a grandson.
