Darlene D. Sojka

      RIVERSIDE - Darlene D. Sojka, 81, of Riverside, died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside, with the Rev. Rich Adams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will follow in St. Mary's hall. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary said at 7 p.m. at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Sojka was born on Nov. 12, 1923, in Riverside to Ralph C. and Rose W. (Muller) Kleopfer. She married Dale K. Sojka on June 7, 1945, in Riverside.
