Darlene Fern Martin

      Darlene Fern Martin, 69, of Ollie, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at home following a three-year battle with cancer.

      A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Elmore and the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

      A luncheon with the family will be at noon Wednesday at Fairfield Friends Church in Fairfield.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to 117 S. Third St., Ollie 52576.

      Mrs. Martin was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Robert Clair and Sylvia Collins Goldsberry. She married Ronald Martin Aug. 6, 1954, in Lancaster, Mo.
