Darrell P. Stockwell

      Darrell P. Stockwell, 68, of Birmingham, died at 4:39 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Birmingham United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. The body has been cremated. A private family burial of cremains will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

      Open visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 127, Birmingham 52535.

      Mr. Stockwell was born June 29, 1939, in Sioux Rapids, the son of Clarence K. and Alice Whitman Stockwell. He married Janice Fullenworth Aug. 14, 1965, in Marathon.
