Darrell W. Johnson September 21, 1941 - July 9, 2005

Darrell W. Johnson, 63, of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.

      Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, at 11 a.m. at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been estabished.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gale Johnson and Donna Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren; six sisters, Patricia and her husband Jim Higdon of West Burlington, Janice Brissey of New London, Carolyn Johnson of Mediapolis, Kathleen and her husband Jim Volmer of Hillsboro, Marilyn and her husband Larry Graham of Burlington and Cheryl and her husband Mike Cline of Burlington.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
