Datie Walker, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 6:35 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2001, at the Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18, at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Dave Plooster officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Fredonia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
