David E. Greiner

      KALONA-David E. Greiner, 57, of Kalona died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at University Hospitals in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kalona with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Visitation will begin Friday, Feb. 28, at 7 a.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will be present to receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue through noon, Saturday. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery. Cremation will follow the funeral Mass. A memorial fund has been established with the Kalona Volunteer Fire Department , Kalona First Responders, or family's choice, in lieu of flowers.
