David Scott Harland, 49,

of Ottumwa, died Jan. 31, 2021, at his home.

He was born April 15, 1971, in Ottumwa. David had worked at Thomas L. Cardella and Asssociates as a telemarketer. He loved watching wrestling, comic books and video games and when he was younger, he loved bowling.

Surviving is his mother, Pam Reber of Davenport; his father, Bob Reber of Ottumwa; a sister, Melissa (Kevin) Linn of Ollie; a brother, James Reber of Iowa City; his aunt, Patricia Monohon of Ottumwa; four nephews, Dalton, Ranen, Kevin and Aidan; a niece, Sonora; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Vida Reber and Dale and Cleo Johnson; and his uncle, Steven Monohon.

Limited open visitation for friends will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Reece Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
