David P. Kern
KALONA-David P. Kern, 71, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at home, following a brief illness.
Graveside services with military rites accorded will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Richmond, Friday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Mr. Kern was born on July 5, 1934, in Richmond, to Paul and Hilda (Kos) Kern. He married Donna Flemming on Feb. 23, 1974, in Hills.
