David Thomas Droz

KALONA ? David Thomas Droz, 59, of Kalona, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, in his home in Kalona following a long illness.

    Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, n the Wellman Mennonite Church in Wellman with the rev. Marvin Hochstetler officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday in the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will be present from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice or the Wellman Mennonite Church.

    Mr. Droz was born May 22, 1950, in Davenport, the son of Dr. Jack and Madonna (Trudo) Droz. He married Joette Yoder on Dec. 2, 1978 in the Wellman Mennonite Church.
