David Thomas Gibson

David Thomas Gibson, 65, Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, April 15, 2005, at his home.

      The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19 at Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Pat Youngquist officiating. The body has been cremated. Visitation will be today after noon at the chapel with family present from 4 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Brian Gibson of West Des Moines, Greg Gibson of Danville, and Steve and his wife Chris Gibson of Lone Tree; a daughter, Julie and her husband Steve Decker of Pittsford, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; his mother of Burlington; two sisters, Becky and her husband Tom Wagner of Danville, and Trish and Gene Horn of LeClaire; and two stepsons, Mike and his wife Shelley Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, and Tom and his wife Rendi Anderson of Cedar Falls.

      He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Teddy Gibson.
