David Wheeler, 12, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date in Middletown Cemetery.

David was born April 3, 2009, in Iowa City, to Brian Wheeler and Natasha Magnuson.

David loved listening to music, playing the guitar and drums. He enjoyed playing with his tool set, collected hot wheels cars, Paw Patrol and How to Train Your Dragon – Toothless. David also collected and wore any crazy hats he could find. Most important was being able to play with his cousins.

David will be missed by his parents, Brian Wheeler of Fairfield and Natasha Magnuson of West Burlington; brother, Anthony Wheeler of North Liberty; grandparents, Connie (Wayne) Lerch of Fairfield and Randy Magnuson of Burlington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Harley Wheeler; grandparents, Huey Wheeler and Barbara Wheeler; and uncles, Josh Magnuson and James Wheeler.
