Dawn Colbert, 61, of Keota, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Washington County Hospital.

Dawn was born April 8, 1960, in Muscatine, to

Charles and Phyllis (White) Colbert and graduated from Columbus Junction High School. In 1980, she married Fred Heisdorffer and they were later divorced. She was a department manager at

Wal-Mart and also worked at BP in Sigourney. Dawn was a member of Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota and enjoyed crafting and being a mom.

Survivors include her child, Quill Heisdorffer of Washington; mother, Phyllis (John) Ramsey of Camdenton, Missouri; sisters, Jody (Matthew) Gossen of Roach, Missouri, Dana (Jimmy) Hopkins of Oklahoma, Sherry (Mike Grote) Ramsey of Wichita, Kansas, Tabitha (Alex) Ramsey of Oklahoma and Honesty Lewis of Lockridge; brothers, Charles (Vicky) Colbert Jr. of Muscatine, Thurman (Darla) Colbert of Keota and Brett (Paula) Colbert of Colorado; and husband, Fred Heisdorffer of Keota.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and sister, Kimberly Ramsey.
