Deane N. Harlan

Deane N. Harlan, 86, of rural Stockport, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 24, 2009, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. ellis andrews officiating. Interment will be at Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where there will be a Masonic service at 6 p.m. 

Memorials may be made to the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center or Spencer Cemetery.

Mr. Harlan was born Nov. 3, 1922, northeast of Stockport, the son of Max M. and Ethel Nixon Harlan. He married Nola J. Headley Nov. 29, 1942, at her mother?s house southeast of Stockport.
