Deborah J. Greiner, 60, of Lockridge passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Deb was born on October 22, 1960, in Fairfield, Iowa the daughter of James Carrol & Marlene Elaine (Bonnett) Sanaghan. She was united in marriage to Tom J. Greiner on July 27, 1979, in Fairfield. Deb was self-employed, caring for many people over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, her family, her cats, camping and collecting sea shells. Deb had served on the Lockridge City Council for over 9 years.

She is survived by her husband, Tom of Lockridge, her children, Troy Greiner (Dawn Murphy) of Fairfield, Tanya (Nate) Millard of North Port, Florida, her grandchildren, Maddy, Marshall, Crimson, Blake and Chassidy, her sister, Jane Logan of Mt. Pleasant, along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven C. Sanaghan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will follow in the Lockridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. that evening. A memorial has been established in her memory.
