Delilia L. Ballard

    Delilia Louise Ballard, 84, of Washington, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in her home, following a short illness.

    Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Michael Zahs conducting the services.  Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at La Harpe Cemetery in La Harpe, Ill.  Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be directed to the Community Senior Center in Washington.

    Mrs. Ballard was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Greenwood, Ind., the daughter of Frances (Lee) Parish.
