Delmar I. Bender
KALONA ? Delmar I. Bender, 92, of Kalona, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell with the Rev. Corey Miller and the Rev. Martha Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. A memorial fund has been established for West Union Mennonite Church and Pleasantview Home. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.
