Delmar J. Yoder, age 75, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Elm Grove Cemetery with Rick Capps officiating. Memorials have been established for the Washington Community Y. Online condolences may be sent for Delmar's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com.

Delmar was born August 4, 1943, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Delmar R. and F. Maxine (Jackson) Yoder. He graduated from Washington High School in 1961 and furthered his education at California Poly-Technic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and Kansas State University.

Delmar lived most of his adult life in California where he worked for a printing company in Los Angeles. He moved back to Washington, Iowa, in 2004. He had a love for computers, Astronomy, Photography and HAM Radios.

Delmar is survived by several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
