Delores Fedler

      Delores Fedler, 82, of Fort Madison, formerly of West Point, died at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

      A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, with the Rev. Apo T. Mpanda officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in West Point.

      Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Daughters of Isabella Rosary at 3 p.m. and a Christian Wake service at 7 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, The Kensington in Fort Madison or Lee County Hospice.

      Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison is in charge of arrangements.

      Mrs. Fedler was born Nov. 11, 1924, in St. Paul, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Sadie Menke Spiekermeier. She married Edmund Fedler Feb. 8, 1943, in West Point.
