Dennis D. Snyder
Dennis Dean "Abe" Snyder, 70, of New London, died Friday, Dec. 26, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Visitation began at noon today, Dec. 29, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the chapel, with the Rev. Adam Ross officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, with a lunch following at the New London Christian Church.
A memorial has been established for the New London Rescue Unit.
He was born March 8, 1938, in Burlington, the son of Harold and Wilda Hester Snyder. He married Iva Boecker in Kahoka, Mo.
