Dennis L. Boshart

Dennis Lloyd Boshart, 91, of Goshen, Ind., formerly of the Wayland area, died Wednesday, March 12, in Goshen.

A funeral service was held Sunday, March 16, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with Pastor Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial is in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland assisted with arrangements.

Memorials have been established for the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and Sugar Creek Cemetery Fund.

He was born Feb. 18, 1917 in Wayland, the son of Elmer and Martha Nebel Boshart. On September 21, 1941, he married Esther Wagler.

He was a livestock, turkey and grain farmer. He was a member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and served in various positions.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Wesley Boshart and his wife Carol of Eureka, Mo., Ronald Boshart and his wife Elizabeth of Centennial, Colo., and Rodney Boshart and his wife Mary of West Des Moines; his daughter, Peggy Milton and her husband Ricardo of Goshen; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His parents, brothers Clair, Elon, Alvin and Dillon, sister Grace Roth, son Dean Ledru and daughter Berdene Boshart preceded him in death.
