Diane Marie Evanovich, 65, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at Pearl Valley Rehab of Washington.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at the United Methodist Church with Pastor Kwang Song officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars, Iowa. A general memorial has been established. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Diane was born Feb. 18, 1954, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Dwight Verlyn and Patricia Ann (Uhl) Morehead. She graduated from Washington High School. Diane was united in marriage to Roy Evanovich on April 14, 1973, in Washington, Iowa.

Diane was a homemaker. She enjoyed biking, cross stitching, crocheting and 50s and 60s music.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Evanovich of Iowa City, Iowa; sons, Adam Evanovich of Iowa City, Iowa, Brett Evanovich and wife Heather of New London, Iowa, and Jarred Evanovich and wife Erika of Coralville, Iowa; grandchildren, Kaydince and Abigail Hummell and Kendellynn and Tobias Evanovich; sister, Darla Schultz and husband John of Pelican Rapids, Minn.; and many aunts and uncles.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Donald Peterson; and several aunts and uncles.
