Dixie Ahlbrecht
KALONA - Dixie Ahlbrecht, 58, of Washington, formerly of Kalona, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Richmond. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Ahlbrecht was born Aug. 24, 1948 in Washington, the daughter of Gregory and Winona (Bower) Smith. She married John Michael Ahlbrecht.
