Dolly G. Downey December 7, 1914 - November 18, 2005
Dolly Grace Downey, 90, of New London, formerly of Seattle, Wash., and Fayette, Mo., died at 12:52 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Elliott Chapel in New London, with Pastor Robert Russell officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday at the chapel, with family present from 10 to 11 a.m.
Mrs. Downey was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Seattle, the daughter of Dr. John F. and Mae Purtee Hollingsworth.
