Dolores 'Dot' Lutz

      Dolores "Dot" Lutz, 88, of Houghton, died at 7 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at the Henry County Health Center.

      Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton, with the Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery in Houghton.

      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the St. John's Catholic Church, with a Rosary held at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at the church.

      A memorial has been established for the St. John's Catholic Church and St. Alphonsus Church. Contributions may be made at the church during services or at the Barr Memorial Chapel in Ft.       Mrs. Lutz was born Oct. 21, 1917, daughter of John and Kathryn Schinstock Sanders, in Houghton. On Feb. 7, 1939, she married Everett F. "Eddie" Lutz at St. John's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1989.
