Don D. Bolick
Don D. Bolick, 89, of Dunedin, Fla., formerly of Mt. Union died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Dunedin, Fla.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Elliott Chapel in New London with the Rev. Bob Hary officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday, April 22 at Elliott Chapel. A memorial has been established to Hospice.
Mr. Bolick was born April 17, 1910, in Danville, the son of Clinton and Flossie Williams Bolick. He married Maurine Lauer on May 26, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant. He graduated high school in Ft. Myers, Fla., where he was handed his diploma by Thomas Edison. He was a farmer in the Danville area and a truck driver for Coppes Trucking and Taylor's Hatchery. He was a member of the North Dunedin Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
Survivors include his wife of Dunedin, Fla.; one son, Joseph Bolick of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother in infancy.
