Don Lauer Helphrey, 92, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Mount Union, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at the Danville Care Center.
The family will greet friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Elliott Chapel, New London, with the service following at 11 a.m. Pastor David Mixon will officiate. Inurnment with military rites will be held at Trinity Cemetery with a luncheon at the New London Country Club, 2534 Racine Avenue at 12:30 p.m.
