Don J. Adams

      SIGOURNEY - Don J. Adams, 90, of Sigourney, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, due to complications of age.

      Memorial services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Sigourney United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Hembry officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, at Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Sigourney Public Library or the United Methodist Church.

      Mr. Adams was born July 28, 1915, in Sigourney, to Don and Mabel (Horn) Adams. He married Sylvia W. Kucera in Sigourney on Dec. 12, 1937.
