Donald Cox, 80, of Boone, IA, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church, 703 Greene St. Boone, IA 50036. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Schroeder Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 7th St. Boone, IA.

Donald Eugene Cox, son of Dale and Pauline (Crafton) Cox, was born November 24, 1942, in Davenport, IA. He spent his younger years in Fairfield and Batavia. Don graduated from Batavia/Cardinal High School in 1960. Don was united in marriage to Elizabeth (Betty) Ornduff on June 8, 1963, at the Methodist Church in Batavia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Boone or Suncrest Home Health and Hospice of Ames.
