Donald 'Dan' M. Statton
KALONA-Donald "Dan" M. Statton, 79, of Kalona, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, at Shiloh in Kalona. Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will follow the graveside services. A general memorial has been established. Peterseim Funeral Service in Kalona is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Statton was born on Feb. 15, 1925, in Boone, to Roy F. and Emma (Brown) Statton. He married Jane Thorngren on June 1, 1947, in Denver, Colo.
