Donald 'Donnie' E. Carlson
MT. PLEASANT - Donald "Donnie" E. Carlson, 64, of rural Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, June 6, 2008, in his home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 9 n the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Steven Zittergruen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or to the Midwest Old Threshers Association.
Mr. Carlson was born April 17, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Robert and Betty (Mark) Carlson. He married Mary Jackson on July 17, 1965 in Swedesburg. They later divorced.
