Donald E. Kracaw

WINFIELD - Donald E. Kracaw, 83, of Winfield, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, in the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in the Swedeburg Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Steven Zittergruen officiating. A private family interment will be held prior to the funeral service in the Swedesburg Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Swedesburg Parish Hall. Memorials may be made to the Swedesburg Lutheran Church and Sunrise Terrace Care Center.

      Mr. Kracaw was born Dec. 5, 1924 near Wyman, the son of Neil and Edith (Cannon) Kracaw. He married Jean Lantz on Oct. 1, 1947 in Swedesburg Lutheran Church.
