Donald Elroy Baumert

KEOTA ? Donald Elroy Baumert, 85, of Burlington, formerly of Washington and Keota, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, in Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport.

    Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Dennis Hopes officiating.  Burial will be at Keota Cemetery with military rites by Keota VFW Post No. 4716.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or the family.

    Mr. Baumert was born June 18, 1923, near Keota, the son of Floyd and Pearl (Brock) Baumert.
